Position 006: Sales Agent


RONEsoft is a Canadian software start-up company that focuses on building cloud-based business and enterprise profit enhancing solutions. We are seeking a motivated and organized Sales Agent to close sales and boost our customer base. You will utilize established leads and find new leads for potential customers. After making initial contact, you will present the benefits of our products and services, helping them understand how these products can enhance their everyday lives. We prefer candidates who have at least two years of sales experience and a solid history of closing sales, but we are willing to train the right person.

We are currently looking for sales agents, that excel in sales and customer service field. We have a fun and exciting atmosphere, and eligible applicants will possess a strong desire to succeed in a sales-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a sales role (in the promotions/marketing industry is an asset) with a high energy level and excellent telephone and email communication skills. The successful applicant must have a valid driver’s licence and dependable transportation

Sales Agent Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
  • Create and maintain a database of prospective clients
  • Assists with maintaining customer database and aids marketing department in the distribution of marketing campaigns
  • Deliver customized, targeted sales strategies
  • Conducts product demonstrations in a wide variety of environments including dealer locations and virtual events/meetings
  • Determine customer needs and offer product or service solutions and support
  • Coordinate sales effort with other team members and other departments
  • Participates in regularly business review meetings and provides feedback to all department on sales related matters
  • Attends regular internal sales meetings and coordinates online webinars for sales team and dealer base
  • Must be willing to travel using own personal resources & to work independently

Sales Agent Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and accountable for maintaining active revenue and margin targets
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent English written and communication skills
  • Competent computer skills in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point & Outlook
  • Excellent account management skills
  • Prioritization, time management and organizational skills
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Formal post-secondary training/education in Sales and Marketing is a plus
  • 2+ years of sales experience preferred with a demonstrated successful sales record
  • Demonstrate ability to close sales and overcome customer objections
  • Ability to find and position each customer’s unique value proposition to satisfy their long-term needs
  • Develop and maintain exceptional consultative relationships with existing customers
  • Build and nurture relationships with fellow colleagues, while building and leading a team!
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the client/prospect needs


  • Contract length: 12 months; Contract extensions to be negotiated on an annual basis
  • Expected start date: January 2021
